Maggie Bushway has been an independent filmmaker for 11 years, producing short films and short documentaries under the production name 501 Films. After studying journalism with an emphasis on documentary filmmaking for her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, she turned 501 Films into a videography business with the dream to “shine the light” on people’s stories and messages. 501 Films has now become 501 Media, as she incorporates multimedia elements into the storytelling process, including photos, graphics, and audio!
